Open Air Market, This Weekend

Sunday, August 22nd 9:00 - 4:00

If you find yourself wondering how to spend a glorious summer afternoon in Connecticut come out and see me at the Open Air Market held at Wadsworth Mansion in Middletown. Every year it promises to be a great event with lots to do and see. A wide range of artists, farmers and foodies will be in attendance. You can also see the grounds, tour the mansion and listen to music. Here are some photos from previous years:

Return of Carrot Seed Calendula Shampoo Bar

I have had a lot of requests to bring back the carrot shampoo bar. I think it took a long time to catch on. So, I have a batch curing right now that will be ready in a couple of weeks. It will appear on my Etsy store first, I'm not sure if I will post it on my main website. For all of those who wanted it...thanks for waiting!

New Lotion Containers

It's been a long time coming, but I have wanted to change my lotion containers into a smaller size and simplify my line of lotions. The reasoning behind the change is to have the lotion containers be FULLY recyclable, convenient and easier to ship. The new containers I am trialling are 4 ounces, sleek and simple. They are a #4  plastic for recycling purposes. The dispensing cap is a flip top that is no fuss, yet secure and will not open accidentally. I have not shipped any yet, but the idea is that one bottle and possibly two bottles will ship first class mail, which is a very economic method of shipment.
